Winnie Chong

Winnie Chong is a rare find in the live music entertainment scene in Hong Kong. Awarded Young Musician Of The Year, Champion in Piano Accompaniment and Champion in Flute, instead of pursuing an expected 'classical' path, she entered the stage of live entertainment in a breeze. Her classical background and involvement in musical productions has contributed to a refined and refreshing repertoire. Her exquisite touch and charisma has captured many audiences' hearts. Her long engagements with world-renowned hotels including The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, The Island Shangri-la, The Marco Polo HK Hotel and performances in special events including the 150th anniversary of The Peninsula, Celebration of birthday of Late King Bhumibol of Thailand by the Royal Thai Consulate General and a private party for former British Prime Minister, Sir John Major are sheer reflections of her standing in the industry.
With her experience as solo pianist, accompanist and musical director, she created Winnie Chong Piano Quartet in 2008. An ensemble of elegance and class with a delightful repertoire, it has taken live entertainment to a new level.
