Winnie Chong is a well-known entertainer in our Lobby Lounge and has delighted our guests since 2002. Her world-class piano performances attract many patrons to our hotel. With her growth in popularity, Winnie was asked to expand the entertainment offering to a quartet in 2008. Her roles as Music Director, Lead Pianist amd Flautist has led to further praise from our international customers, as well as from our local Hong Kong Patrons.
With very strict standards of adherence in a luxury setting, Winnie has been able to match music very well suited to our atmosphere. As a music producer, her talents have also been called upon to provide musical sets in our Petrus Fine Dining Restaurant, as well as for seasonal occasions including Chinese New Year, the Christmas festive season and other special events. This has enabled our hotel to enjoy a reputation as one of the few venues in Hong Kong with such a solid musical offering.
We have appreciated the partnership with Winnie and her company, Winnie Chong Productions Ltd and the many guests having been delighted along the way. Consistently professional, humble, well mannered, elegant, impeccably presented and a true leader, she has been wonderful to work with.
It has personally been special to witness Winnie and her quartet when they are in full swing. There is nothing like a classical piece to enable one to savor a few moments of reflection.

It is my pleasure to be able to comment to you on Ms Winnie Chong. I had the opportunity to get to know Winnie in my role as Director of Food & Beverage in Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong since 2012. Winnie Chong Productions Ltd has been the appointed music agency for Holiday Inn Golden Mile since 2006 and is still on-going currently.
Winnie is a professional musician, music producer and organiser as well as being involved in musician and live entertainment activities for international hotel brand. She has been providing international artists all these years to perform at the Hari's Bar of Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong. She is an organiser expert to provide excellent artists for us and the standard of music performances has delighted our guests very much and adding value to the impression of the hotel significantly.
In addition, Winnie always provides us with technical support in special events including the recent performance of international jazz band from Austria, Michaela Rabitsch & Robert Pawlik Quartet, in Holiday Inn Golden Mile Hong Kong as part of their concert series in Asia in association with the Austrian Consulate.
To conclude, I would like to restate my highest recommendation for Winnie and would recommend her to any other world-class hotels. Importantly, I believe she will be able to make cultural contribution to any place in her best endeavour.

This is to confirm that The Marco Polo HongKong Hotel employed Ms. Winnie Chong Wing Yan since November 1st 1994 up to April 2001 as Pianist in our Tai Pan Grill.
Over the past years, Winnie distinguished herself not only as an excellent Piano player with a vast repertoire, she is an excellent entertainer, judging the mood of the Restaurant and its guests perfectly. She made enormous contribution to enhance the Tai Pan Grill ambience over the years. Many regular guests returned to see Winnie playing their favourite tunes. Winnie was also instrumental in recruiting additional musicians during the festive season.
I certainly can recommend Winnie as a very professional, motivated and highly qualified Piano player. I very much regret that she is leaving us. At the same time, I would like to thank her for all the efforts and take this opportunity to wish her every success in her future career.
